Guess our baby's date of birth

A little miracle is on the way! Here's how it works: pick the date you think baby will arrive, write a wish, and send a gift (any amount, $20 and up). The closest guess wins bragging rights. All gifts go straight to the parents.

Sending so much love from across the ocean! Wishing you an easy delivery and lots of joy in the wait. I’m so glad I got to be part of this baby shower — what a beautiful idea. Counting down with you.

FAQ

Questions parents usually ask.

Do guests have to send a gift?

Every guess includes a contribution — from $20 up. Friends choose an amount that feels right for them. No pressure, no awkward cash asks.

Who can see the wishes?

Only you. Guests don't see what others guessed or gave. Your dashboard keeps every message private and safe.

What does the closest guess win?

Bragging rights — and a moment you'll all remember. When baby arrives, guests get the result. No cash prize, just pure fun.

What happens after the baby is born?

Your calendar stays. Every wish, guess, and name is saved — open it on the first birthday, or any day you need a smile.

Why we built this

When my closest friend was pregnant, I was in another country and couldn't celebrate with her.

Sending a random gift didn't feel right.

So I thought — there should be a simple way for friends to join, celebrate, and support from anywhere.

That's how First Step started.

It wasn't about the money, but the messages and intentions behind it. We received $350, but more importantly, a lasting memory from each loved one.
